Greetings everyone!
After a long separation from my brewing equipment, spring is upon us, the weather is warming up, and I will be making the annual return from NY to IL soon! I thought I would get a head-start on the brewing season and start planning recipes and schedules now. I also thought I would start this blog to chronicle my adventures in brewing beer.
If you are reading this, you may be a friend of mine, you may have had my beer at my house or a party before, you may have even sat in for a brewing (or drinking) session with me before. If not, you have an opportunity to! The purpose of this blog is to connect beer lovers and help educate everyone on the gospel of good beer and proper brewing. I will be sharing recipes and techniques, and will even arrange a system where we can all contribute to designing and brewing beers that YOU can help design!
I will be aiming for weekly updates with pictures, links, and the like. The next update is coming later this week and will include the recipe for my St. Paddy's day brew: "Blackthorne Stick Oatmeal Irish-American Stout". Stay tuned, folks...
